About
About Devtaş
A family-run natural stone company from Develi, Kayseri, turning the volcanic rock of Mount Erciyes into surfaces for the world.
Our story
Rooted in the stone of Erciyes
Devtaş was founded in 2007 in Develi, a town on the southern slopes of Mount Erciyes, the extinct volcano whose lava flows created the basalt plateau of Kayseri. Basalt from this region has been used in Anatolian architecture for centuries; our founders set out to produce it to modern standards and at industrial scale.
Within its first years the company built its plant with 5,000 m² of covered halls and 25,000 m² of open yard, opened its own basalt quarry and began supplying major public projects across Türkiye. Investment in diabase and Ottoman Green quarries followed, widening the range of stones we can offer from a single source.
Today around 40% of our basalt production is exported to seven countries. We work with importers, stone distributors, contractors and architects who need a reliable supply of consistent material, backed by European test data and export-ready packaging.

How we work
Principles that shape every order
Quality without compromise
Every block is graded, every batch is inspected. We would rather reject material than ship it.
Reliability
Because we own the quarries and the plant, we control lead times ourselves and quote dates we can keep.
Partnership
We support importers and contractors with drawings, samples, test data and technical advice from the first inquiry to installation.
Sustainability
Responsible quarrying, our own rooftop solar power and efficient use of natural resources.
