Who we are

A single source for basalt, from the quarry face to your port

Devtaş was founded in 2007 in Develi, at the foot of Mount Erciyes, the volcano that gave Kayseri its dense black basalt. Today we operate three quarries and a 30,000 m² processing plant, and we ship finished tiles, pavers, kerbs and cladding to seven countries. Because we own every step of the chain, we control quality, colour consistency and delivery dates ourselves.

  • Own basalt, diabase and Ottoman Green quarries
  • Sawing, polishing, sandblasting, brushing and splitting in-house
  • Export packaging and container loading at the factory

Why Devtaş

What international buyers get from us

Quarry ownership

We extract our own blocks, so supply is continuous and colour is consistent from the first container to the last.

1,000 m² a day

5,000 m² of covered production halls with multiple cutting and finishing lines keep lead times short even on large tenders.

Certified performance

CE Declaration of Performance to EN 1469, EN 12057 and EN 12058, ISO 9001 quality management and test reports on request.

Export-ready

Seaworthy wooden crates and pallets, container stuffing at the factory and complete export documentation.

Made to your drawing

Cut-to-size pieces, steps, copings, custom profiles and mixed finishes produced from your project drawings.

Responsible production

A 1 MW rooftop solar plant that generates our own electricity and an environmentally responsible approach to quarrying.

Applications

Where basalt earns its reputation

Dense, frost-resistant and slip-resistant, Kayseri basalt is specified for surfaces that must look good for decades.

From quarry to port

How your order is made

  1. Quarrying

Blocks are extracted at our basalt quarry in Develi and graded by colour and soundness.

  2. Block selection

Only sound, uniform blocks are released to production.

  3. Sawing

Gang saws and bridge saws cut blocks into slabs and strips to the exact thickness specified in your order.

  4. Surface finishing

Polishing, sandblasting, brushing, splitting or tumbling lines give each piece the specified surface.

  5. Quality control

Every batch is checked for dimensions, squareness, thickness tolerance and surface quality before packing.

  6. Packing

Tiles are packed on pallets or in wooden crates and strapped, labelled to match your packing list.

  7. Shipping

Containers are loaded at our factory and dispatched via Mersin port with full export documentation.

Quality

Numbers you can specify with confidence

Our basalt is tested to European standards. Density, flexural strength, water absorption and frost resistance are declared in the CE Declaration of Performance and available for your tender file.
